DIY or done for you?

AI tools or a build partner: which fits you?

Building yourself can be a useful way to explore an idea. Hiring help can make sense when you want to focus on customers instead of coordinating the build. The important distinction is responsibility, not whether either approach uses AI.

What DIY gives you, and what remains your job

Tools such as Lovable and Bubble let you create and change software without starting from a blank code editor. A prototype can help you explain a workflow, test assumptions and decide what users really need.

A convincing screen is not the same as a checked product. You still need to verify account access, data isolation, billing, failure handling, deployment and backups as relevant to your idea. Budget time to learn these responsibilities or hire help for them.

Lovable and Bubble have different portability models

Lovable supports code download and repository sync so code can be developed outside the platform. Moving hosting, data and connected services may still require separate migration work.

Bubble distinguishes your app design and data from its underlying platform code. Its documentation says application code is not exportable for independent hosting, while data can be exported. Decide whether that trade-off fits your intended product before committing. Do not assume every no-code or AI tool has the same ownership model.

What paying for a build changes

A build partner should make the scope, testing responsibilities and handover explicit. Ask what human review covers and request demonstrations of complete workflows. AI-assisted delivery is a method, not a guarantee of correctness.

If you already have a prototype, show it to the builder. Agree whether it can be reused or needs rebuilding before accepting a quote. Our standard offer is an agreed first web app, not a promise to rescue any existing project for the same price.

Where Paramount Profits fits

We help shape and build a focused custom web app, not a native mobile app or an entire enterprise platform. Start with our free software questions, then complete the idea questionnaire for a personal plan. The plan helps you understand the first version before deciding whether to buy.

The upfront option is $9,997 USD for the agreed 14-day build, starting at kickoff once scope and required access are ready. It includes a sales page, $500 of Facebook ad spend, app-use training, 12 months of standard hosting and 30 days of fixes. Upfront buyers also receive six private one-hour consultations, every two weeks for three months.

Alternatively, pay $5,500 today and $5,500 on day 30 ($11,000 total), with delivery after the final payment clears around day 30; or $3,700 today, on day 30 and on day 60 ($11,100 total), with delivery after the final payment clears around day 60. Client delays can shift delivery. Third-party usage, later features and mobile conversion are separate costs.

Common questions

Do I have to buy to get a personal software plan?

No. Complete the free software questions and the idea questionnaire for your personalised plan. A paid build is a separate decision.

Does the 14-day offer include a native mobile app?

No. It covers an agreed-scope web app that can be used in a phone browser. Native mobile conversion is a separately quoted later phase.

What should I check before choosing a builder?

Ask for a written scope, acceptance criteria, full payment schedule, code and account ownership, third-party costs, testing responsibilities and a usable handover. Read the agreement before paying.
